Privacy Policy
Fieldwork ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Anchor Business Services LLC, Canton, Michigan. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use fieldworkhq.io and the Fieldwork application.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the application, including audit sessions, questions answered, scores generated, and reports created.
Client engagement data: Information you enter during client audit sessions, including screener responses, domain answers, and scoring data. This data is associated with your account and is not shared with third parties.
Payment information: Billing information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Communications: If you contact us or join our waitlist, we retain that correspondence and your email address.
Automatically collected data: We collect standard web analytics data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session duration.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Fieldwork platform
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send product updates, feature announcements, and support communications
- To respond to your questions and support requests
- To generate aggregate, anonymized insights about platform usage
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your client engagement data to train AI models without explicit consent.
3. AI Processing
Fieldwork uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate audit questions and produce reports. Data sent to Claude for processing is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy and data processing terms. We send only the information necessary to generate questions and reports — no personally identifiable client information is required for this processing.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement row-level security (RLS) to ensure your data is accessible only to your account.
No security system is perfect. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Anthropic — AI question generation and report writing
- Stripe — payment processing
- Formspree — waitlist and contact form processing
We do not share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics companies beyond standard anonymized web analytics.
6. Shareable Reports
When you share a report via the shareable URL feature, that report becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You control when and whether to share reports. Shared reports do not require the recipient to create an account.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance. Audit session data is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted 30 days after account cancellation.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time

9. Cookies
We use essential cookies necessary for the application to function (authentication, session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect application functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
Fieldwork is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
